ENTRY FEES

All fees include the 50¢ AKC Recording Fee $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, or the $3.00 AKC Recording Fee on each entry of a dog in Rally. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.)

SPECIAL NOTICES

* CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

* Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

* POST DATED CHECKS & RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

* No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes and/ or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or Show Superintendent.

* No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures.

* Changes, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing by telegram or fax prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

* There will be no refunds for duplicate entries.

* No Dog wrongly entered in a class may be transferred to another class (except in case of wrong sex or a Dog may be transferred from one division of the Puppy Class to another or between Puppy and 12-18 month Class prior to the judging) nor can a dog be withdrawn after entries have closed. The owner or agent assumes all responsibilities for wrong or incomplete information of the entry blank.

* Entries must be on an Official AKC form or photocopy of the official entry form with the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side or they cannot be accepted.

* No Unentered Dogs.


"Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way (for example: left unattended on a grooming table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper ventilation) will be removed to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way is considered mistreatment."

SHOW SITE INFORMATION

THE SHOW GROUNDS AT THIS SHOW CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE FAIRGROUND AND ADJACENT TO BOTH.

* The show site will be available to exhibitors after the Superintendent sets up Friday, November 27, 2009. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following final judging Sunday, November 29, 2009. Dogs may be left in the grooming area overnight on Friday, November 27, 2009 and Saturday, November 28, 2009.

* All regulations governing the use of this facility, and all regulations and decisions of the Show Committee of this show giving club on these days will be strictly enforced, but not limited to that which is recorded in this Premium List.

* GROOMING area is set up under the supervision of the Building and Grounds Committee, who may require rearrangement of exhibitor's set-ups where space is not properly utilized. No Grooming in main building.

CRATES MUST BE STACKED, ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVATE EXERCISE PENS OF ANY

DESCRIPTION ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING.

EXHIBITORS & HANDLERS will be held responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates. EXHIBITORS WHO DO NOT KEEP THEIR AREAS CLEAN WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. DOGS MAY BE EXERCISED ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS OUTSIDE THE SHOW BUILDING. Public exercise pens will be provided but must be attended by handlers or owners while in use. You are welcome to bring your own exercise pens but they must be set up in designated places. EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER THEIR DOGS AT ALL TIMES. Pooper scoopers and trash cans will be available.

* Dumping of dog food or grooming residue into the restroom sinks and toilets is strictly prohibited! NO DOGS will be allowed in the restrooms.

PARKING REGULATIONS

LOADING & UNLOADING of dogs and equipment should be done at the designated loading areas.

* All parking will be on a First Come - First Serve basis. Extra spaces may not be saved by roping off, using empty crates, exercise pens, chairs or any equipment. All parking is subject to control of the show giving club. Club officials may require that vehicles or equipment be rearranged to accommodate vehicles. The area around vehicles MUST be kept clean at all times.

* All vehicles will be parked at the owner's risk.

* The American Brittany Club will Not Be responsible for loss by fire, burglary, theft, or any other cause whatsoever to the vehicle or its contents.

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

* DOGS need to be present only for schedule judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.

* DOGS must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Show Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.

* The show giving club, the show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. PARENTS are solely responsible for their children, and are expected to keep them supervised and controlled at all times for their own safety.

* All dogs present must be held on a leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercise pen. There is NO ROOM for unentered dogs. Please do not bring them.

Jake Tabler, owner of the Bearcat Resturant, will once again open the "Bearcat Too" at the Clubhouse in Booneville. Breakfast will be served starting at 6:00 a.m. daily, unless there is no activity planned for the grounds that particular day. Sign-up sheets will be located in the Clubhouse for dinners to enable the Bearcat to know how many to plan for ...............PLEASE SIGN UP.

No dog shall be exhibited in a licensed or member dog show, except for dogs entered in the Miscellaneous Class unless it is either individually registered in the AKC Stud Book, or individually registered with a foreign registry organization whose pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration. MICRO CHIP CLINIC

For the 9th year Dr. Barbara Pepin, our own Specialty show Veterinarian, will be available to microchip dogs at the Specialty Show. She may also be at the Field Trial grounds some of the week after the Specialty. If she is, appointments can be made for chipping dogs there. She will also chip horses. Both Home Again and Avid chips are available. Cost for either type chip is $25.00.

This service will be available at both the Field Trial and the Show.

NATIONAL QUALIFIERS CLASS

Limited to Dogs & Bitches who have Qualified to Run in the American Brittany Club National Gun Dog Championship Field Trial, American Brittany Club National Amateur Gun Dog Championship Field Trial, American Brittany Club National Open All-Age Championship Field Trial, and the American Brittany Club National Amateur All-Age Championship Field Trial for the Current & Preceding Years Only. Dogs & Bitches who Qualify after the Show's Closing Date will be Eligible to Show the Next Year Only, and those that Qualify Prior to the Closing Date Shall be Eligible for that Current Year & the Following Year. Dogs & Bitches have only to be Qualified to Run in the National Field Trial Events, not actually Compete.

AWARDS OF MERIT

The American Brittany Club, Inc., offers a Rosette for the winners of a Judge's Award of Merit. The number awarded is at the discretion of the Judge.



BEST PUPPY IN REGULAR CLASSES - For first place winners in the regular Puppy Classes 6-9 month Dogs & Bitches, and 9-12 month Dogs & Bitches.

BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR IN REGULAR CLASSES - For first place winners in the Regular Bred By Exhibitor Classes - Bred By Exhibitor Dog & Bitch.



NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES

As the judge's decision will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, none of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes. Note: Chapter 11, Section 8 of The Dog Show rules provides that castrated males may be entered as Stud Dog in the Stud Dogs Class and Spayed Bitches as Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class.

Stud Dog Class-For Stud Dogs and at least two, and not more than four of his Get. Owners of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owners of the Get. Get must be entered in another class in this show. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and shown in the ring with his Get. The merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry. Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the The Dog Show rules.

Brood Bitch Class-Same as Stud Dog Class except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.


PARADE OF TITLEHOLDERS

ELIGIBILITY: All Brittany Dual Champions, Field Champions, Amateur Field Champions, Show Champions, Obedience Title, Tracking Test, Agility and Hunting Test Title Holders may be entered in this class; which is non-competitive. Each entry participating will receive a special "Parade of Title Holders" Rosette.

PARADE OF VETERAN TITLEHOLDERS

ELIGIBILITY: All Brittany Dual Champions, Field Champions, Amateur Field Champions, Show Champions, Obedience Title, Tracking Test, Agility & Hunting Test Title Holders that are 8 years old or older may be entered in this class; which in non-competitive. Each entry participating will receive a special "Parade of Veteran Titleholders" Rosette.

PARADE OF NATIONAL FIELD CHAMPION QUALIFIERS

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Brittanys who have met the ABC qualifications for the 2009 National Open Championship, 2009 National Amateur Championship or 2009 National Open Gun Dog Championship. This is a non-competitive class. Each entry participating will receive a memento of the occasion.

*It is requested that a dog be entered in only one of the Parade classes rather than several.

*Please send a typewritten write-up of NO MORE THAN 100 words about your dog and turn into the Show Chairman at the Show. Please PRINT the name of your dog and write all information clearly on the information card.

MEMORIAL TROPHY-Becky Rao of Rao Farms Kennel offers through the American Brittany Club, Inc., for competition at its National Specialty Show only, the "5 x ABC Nat'l Show CH, Can Nat'l Ch Jordean All Kiddin' Aside, JH, (Ollie) Memorial Trophy" to be Awarded at the National Specialty Show each year to the Best of Breed winner. For permanent possession, the Trophy must be won three times by the same owner, not necessarily with the same dog, nor at consecutive shows. The name of the winning dog will be engraved on the Trophy by the winner each year. The Trophy will be maintained by the current recipient until the next year's National Specialty. The Trophy is a Bronze Statue of a Brittany which is mounted on a Wooden Base with area for Brass Plates for Engraving.

MEMORIAL TROPHY-Marvin D. Nelson, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Robert J. McNulty, III and Nancy W. Clendenen, offer through the American Brittany Club, Inc., for competition at its Annual Winter Specialty Show only, the Frances A. Savage Memorial Trophy, to be awarded each year to the winner of Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed. DUAL DOG AWARD POINT SYSTEM

The American Brittany Club, Inc., may designate Dual Dog of the Annual Show and Trial any dog that has amassed the most points for his or her performance in the National Specialty Show and Field Trials. Field performance and high stake being given preference in the event of a tie. The points upon which the award is to be chosen shall be based on the following scales for Field Trials and bench show performance and the points obtained in each shall be totaled. Dogs MUST win points from the show and field. Only the highest show placements will be considered but all field placements shall be allowed in the final tabulation.

No points are awarded for participation in Parade of Champions, Stud Dog or Brood Bitch or any other non-regular classes with multiple dog entries.

The single highest point value earned in the show will be the one used in calculating the award.

MEMORIAL TROPHY-The Matthew Paul and Jeremy Mark Savage Memorial Trophy is offered through the American Brittany Club, Inc., by Friends of the Savage Family for competition only at its National Specialty Show, to be awarded to the Best Junior Handler. For permanent possession it must be won three times by the same handler, not necessarily with the same dog, nor at consecutive shows. The name of the winning handler will be engraved on the trophy. The trophy will be maintained by the current recipient until the next year's National Specialty. The trophy will be a 10 inch Pewter Revere Bowl on a Wooden Base. A keeper trophy will be awarded to each winner. This will be a Pewter Jeffersonian Cup.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

A RECORDING FEE of 50¢, and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. Agility will have a $3.00 AKC Recording Fee for the first entry & $3.00 for each additional entry per dog. Rally Trial will have a $3.00 AKC Recording Fee on each entry of a dog. These Fees are to be collected by the Show-Giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes will be collected. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.)

IF, BECAUSE OF RIOTS, CIVIL DISTURBANCES, OR OTHER ACTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE MANAGEMENT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN OR TO COMPLETE THIS SHOW, NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE. THE WELL BEING OF THE DOGS, EXHIBITORS AND SPECTATORS IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE, AND IN THE EVENT IT IS NECESSARY TO CANCEL OR STOP THE EVENT BEFORE COMPLETION, NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE.

ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. We will make every effort to find duplicate entries, but if entry is processed, NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE.

THE OWNER OR HANDLER of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. The Show-Giving Club and Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system, or stewards or runners for the purpose of locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.

ALL EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND THEIR DOGS!

ENTRY FORM changes, additions, corrections and cancellations MUST be received in writing or by telegram prior to the closing of entries, and MUST INCLUDE AKC NUMBER AND BREED OF DOG. Those received by telephone are NOT acceptable. SUBSTITUTIONS REQUIRE A NEW COMPLETED ENTRY FORM.

DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF ENTRIES COMING IN AT THE LAST MINUTE, ANY ENTRY MISSING CRUCIAL INFORMATION OR ANY FAX ENTRY MISSING AUTHORIZATION FOR US TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR ENTRY FEES AND FAX FEES, MAY NOT BE CONTACTED AND WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

ENTRIES WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE with Ident. Card and Judging Program. Should such acknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify Roy Jones Dog Shows at 260-925-0525. The person accompanying the dog must show identification before the dog will be received.

THE SHOW-GIVING CLUB, the Show Superintendent, their Agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians.

ANYONE SMOKING IN THE RINGS will be responsible for any damage done to matting due to extinguishing smoking materials on them!

ONE CHECK IS SUFFICIENT for all entries enclosed. ALL CHECKS must have Show(s) & Breed(s) entered written on the face.

EACH DOG MUST BE ENTERED ON A SEPARATE ENTRY FORM.

ONLY DOGS THAT ARE AKC ELIGIBLE ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHOW GROUNDS.

PLEASE NOTE ALL CHANGES IN INFORMATION on the entry form, otherwise they will not be made.

ALL VIDEOTAPING, PHOTOGRAPHY OR ANY REPRODUCTION OF ANY MEANS during the Show requires Club permission.

ANY ENTRIES received with post-dated checks will be returned. THIRD PARTY CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required.

Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed.

(In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

$5.00 per entry (subject to change) is added for FAX entries. Along with the front and the back of each entry form, we need a cover letter stating that you authorize Roy Jones Dog Shows, Inc. to use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express for the following entry fees and fax fees. Then you need to print the card number, expiration date, Cardholders name, address, daytime phone number. A written signature on the cover letter is required. This written authorization is required to process faxed entries. CARDHOLDERS WHOSE CHARGES ARE DECLINED BY THE BANK CARD AUTHORIZATION CENTER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. CREDIT CARD RE-PROCESSING FEE IS $10.00. ALL entries, cancellations, etc., received by fax require show, breed, and AKC number. ALL transactions involving cancellations, class changes, or move-ups will be charged a minimum of $1.00 per entry.
